Lake Maggiore is the second largest lake in Italy. It has many picturesque villages around the lake where a wedding can be held. Outside civil ceremonies can be carried out in one of the Villas situated with lake views. Lake Maggiore offers the possibility of catholic weddings either in one of the Parish churches or some of the quaint chapels in the surrounding villages. It is renowned for the famous Borromee islands. The fishermans island has many restaurants where one can hold a lakeside reception.
